Healthcare professionals are often the first to see what no one else sees. This full-day summit gives the Wisconsin health workforce practical skills for identifying and responding to domestic violence — and the local referral connections to back them up.

Recognize
Identify the signs, dynamics, and health impacts of domestic violence — including the ones that do not present as injury.
Respond
Build confidence in trauma-informed response and immediate intervention, in the room, in real time.
Refer
Strengthen your connections to the local advocates, resources, and referral pathways that pick up where the visit ends.

A resource fair runs in the hallway throughout the entire day.

Each workshop runs 50 minutes of presentation plus 10 minutes of discussion and Q&A. You will choose one session per block.
